(Aberdeen City Centre Association) was formed in 1982 to provide a representative body for retailers and business, and a group who can work with other organisations to improve the quality of our City Centre Environment.

The importance of a thriving retail industry and business heart to the city cannot be overstated. Change is all around us and affects Business - Employees - Residents and Visitors.



is to provide an informed, rational, expression of the views of its members on a wide range of issues, including Environment, Transport , Parking and Tourism all of which are vital not only to our interests but to the city as a whole.

ACCA has established good working relationships with those involved in strategic planning - including Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and Scottish Enterprise Ltd.

ACCA's ability to play this role stems from the diverse nature of our membership which includes Retailers, Hotels, Banks and Building Societies in addition to legal and Accountancy Practices and other Professional Services.

• Associate membership of Aberdeen Tourist Board.
• Access to the media and representation on important issues.
• Partnership with Grampian Police in combating city centre crime.
• Shopping packages with hotels and transport providers for out of town and overseas visitors.

• The need for the continuing development of tourism and the creation of a major tourist attraction.
• The revitalisation of Union Terrace Gardens to provide a focal point for city events and a Green Heart for our city.

ACCA Membership is open to anyone with business interest in the City of Aberdeen.

ACCA meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 12.00 noon.
